Elisa Miller-Out nominated for Upstate Venture Ecosystem Awards

Ithaca, NY - (PRESS RELEASE) – Singlebrook is proud to announce that Elisa Miller-Out has been nominated for the 2015 Upstate Venture Ecosystem Awards. The first ever awards are being organized by Upstate Venture Connect (UVC.org) and the Upstate Venture Association of New York (UVANY.org).

Elisa Miller-Out is CEO and Co-founder of Singlebrook, a custom web software firm. She is nominated for a Community Catalyst Award for individuals who organize programs to bring together diverse startup ecosystem players in their local community. Three years ago, Miller-Out co-founded the Ithaca Venture Community (IVC). IVC started as a small, informal gathering at local coffee shops and has since grown into an active group of over 700 members. IVC events include pitch-style presentations given by tech startup entrepreneurs, as well as networking opportunities for students, entrepreneurs, VCs, and business professionals. Rev: Ithaca Startup Works and Tompkins County Area Development (TCAD) have transitioned into leadership roles for the upcoming Fall season of events. The passing of the IVC leadership torch is a great time to recognize Elisa's tireless energy and passion for building a thriving entrepreneurial community. Miller-Out continues to play an active role in the Upstate venture ecosystem, including mentoring with StartFast Venture Accelerator and speaking at events about B Corps and how companies can use the power of business for social good. 

An independent panel of judges will review the nominations and determine the winners.
