ITHACA --- A software development company in Ithaca is taking the Go Green movement into the technological age - and donating $10,000 worth of manpower to do it.

Singlebrook Technology is offering 50 hours of its time to create a custom iPhone application for a deserving organization. Singlebrook CEO Elisa Miller-Out says she wants to use technology in an innovative way to make a positive change in the world. “It’s a real chance for an organization to sort of reach that whole audience that’s on the go, that are using their iPhone apps regularly, but find some creative way to use it to actually make some kind of an impact,” Miller-Out explained.

iPhone app proposals must enhance an organization's sustainability efforts or have a positive social impact for the community. Singlebrook will select a winner in October and have its iPhone app created by the end of Fall.
